Lost babygirl at 17wks Premature

Hello my name is Ashley and I had my baby girl on April 8th, 2012 at 23wks, she only lived for a few hours and I am just now gettng better. It happened because my placenta errupted at 23wks and on top of that at 20wks I had a low lying placenta.
But I have a question, its only been 2 and a half months since and it is a possiblity that I might be pregnant again.
I just want to know if anything like this has happened to anyone else, and if so if your second pregnancy was healthy and successful.
I would give anything to be pregnant again and actually have a healthy baby!

I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks ( I know is nowhere near 23 weeks) on August 15,2011. On sept 20,2011 I was pregnant again with my son who is almost two months!

First off I am deeply sorry for your loss...mine is a little different. I lost my son at 17 weeks because of a cystic hygroma and fetal hydrops, I got pregnant exactly 6 months to the day after I delivered him and so far this pregnancy has been spot on. Everything has gone exactly how it is supposed to. It is possible to have a normal pregnancy after a loss. I am sure your doctors will be watching you like a hawk. If you are not already I would start taking prenatals if you think there is a chance you could be pregnant. I wish you all the luck in the world on a normal pregnancy

My first son was born at 23 weeks June 25, 2009. He passed July 21, 2009 and I got pregnant with my second in august 2009. My second pregnancy I was on bedrest, had gestational diabetes, was in and out of the hospital and my son was born 3 weeks early due to pre-eclampsia and spent 5 days in the nicu but he is now a healthy, smart, happy 2 year old.

My best friend had the about the same thing happen but her 1st was still born 26wks. There was a tear in the placenta that was causing the baby not to get enough nutrients....the docs were planning to induce labor when baby made it to 1lb but the placenta detached b4 that happened   I am happy to report to u that her 2nd pregnancy (which occured 3mo later) was a perfect & uneventfull 38wks and she now has a wonderful 14yr old son......after her son was born she had 2 daughters all perfectly healthy  

my cousin delivered her baby at 6 months...he was a stillborn cuz the placenta detached from the wall...she got pregnant like 2 months later and now has a healthy 1 yr old babygirl....

sorry for your loss..i thank god everyday i dont have to go what mosr of you ladys do...i dont know if i can handle the loss of one of my babies

Im very close to the same thing happening I had Bryce at 24 weeks (November 24th) because of a infection in the uterous. I am now Preg with a baby at 12 weeks very nervous and going through the same thing. But everything with this baby right now is ok.

Yeah I had high blood pressure the whole pregnancy and even though the doctors didn't relate it to the high blood pressure i think it was something that caused it.
