This is true! Just ignore people like that, they honestly shouldn't even be posting in this forum.

What kind of abortion are you thinking about? Medical, or surgical?

I had a medical, my Dr confirmed the pregnancy he then asked me how I was feeling, he explained everything to me. He gave me an injection in the back of my hip and it stops fetal growth, and sent me home nd to reschedule. 3 days later I went back and he put two pills on my cervix that causes contractions, and forces a miscarriage. I slept all afternoon and woke up to pass two clots, then I had a regular period like flow for a few days. For me it didn't hurt.

You can only get a medical up to 10 weeks ( I think )

I had a surgical abortion if you would like to know more about my experience. (I had the option to be given a certain medication that puts you out of it though, so I remember none of the actual procedure).

How far along were you? I live in Canada...I dont even think they do anything but surgical abortions here   did it hurt during or after? Did you hear anything? How long did it take to physically recover?

I was around 12 weeks, I didn't feel any pain after (I don't remember anything about the actual procedure being done), I didn't hear anything while I was in the room, and it only took me about two weeks to stop spotting.
I'm not sure how they do things in Canada but I would fully recommend taking the medicine they give you if they offer it to put you out of it. It was a nice option to have and I'm so glad they offered it.
