My son had one when he was a baby, take him to the doctor and they'll give you a prescription cream that will get rid of it.

One of my boys had one when he was an infant. His skin peeled on/around his crotch and spread to a bit of his thighs, it was pink and progressed to a bright red before it got better. Peeing hurt him tremendously. I used A&D to protect his skin from his urine while it healed, he was given a Rx cream. I would go straight to the doctor, personally, and not try to treat it yourself, jmo.

my son had one one his chin for a long time. The doctor said it's just from moisture sitting in one spot for a long time, or on a break in the skin. In his case he had a scratch on his chin, then with all the slobbers from teething and stuff he developed the yeast infection. But they gave him cream and it didn't work so they gave him another cream with steroids in it and it helped. Now his skin is nice and clear!

Is the rash on the inside of his leg where the diaper elastic sits? If so, try a larger diaper. Miles had a little rash right where the elastic sat on his leg. Turns out he needed size 2 diapers rather than size 1. Only took a few days to clear up. Hope that helps.
