Encouragment

i adopted my son when i was 19, im 20 now but i have had him a year, idk if that makes me a teen mom or not but i would like to share some encouragment on other teens. ik its extreamly hard to raise a baby so young. sence i adopted my son there is no baby daddy to file for child support or help me with his needs. im doin it alone n for most of u, u r too. although my parents stuck together after having my older sister at 14 me at 16 n my younger sister at 22, they r still married n we all have the same dad. n most cases that dosnt happen. now im pregnant with my second baby, due n feb. i got lucky n have very suportive parents, with the aoption and my pregnancy n they help me when i need it. most teens dont have a support system n instead r alone n everything they do. so i just wanna tell u guys that its all goin to be ok, its really hard right now n u may think ur never gona make it but u will. if ur not pregnant n dont have a baby n ur young i do advise to not get pregnant right now. but if u do then keep ur head up even when u just wanna fall apart bc most of u r great mothers or will b. dont let no one tell u diff.

Wait, so you're telling us that you were allowed as a single 19 year old to adopt a child?

I am alittle confused you gave your first up for adoption or you adopted your first child?

Why would anyone single.... And 19 adopt a child and how is that even legal?

That's exactly what I'm wondering. Not like they hand out babies to who ever raises their hand

Also pretty confused....? Adoption is a very complex process, some full grow adults with great jobs have a hard time doing so.

Smurf, I wasn't even thinking about kids at 19 let alone adopting.

Uh yeah. How did you adopt a child at 19 and be single? Most adoption agencies don't allow single adults to adopt. They have strict guidelines for adoption. So how at 19 did you adopt a child legally?
