yes when i was 19 i aopted my son, not gave him away. his birth mother was my bff at the time n she severly neglected him so when i found out i told her to either step up n b a mom or sign him over so she signed him over to me. n the state of alabama as long as ur an adult u can file for adoption. u have to pass a few things like DHR (cps) n a back ground check. my court date is july 9th to make it all finalized but i have been told by the judge, DHR and my lawyer that its all pretty much a done deal, the court date it only to make it official. i didnt go threw an agency or anything like that bc i knew the mother personally. but yes i was allowed to adopt him when i was 19

No she very clearly stated that she adopted her son when she was 19. And goes on to talk about how hard it is to be young and a single parent. Hello then don't adopt a child at 19 before you can support one .

This story seems fishy. Did you think having a child at 19 would be a piece of cake?

i didnt go out one day n say yea ima adopt a baby today, it just happened. my bff lived n another state for a while after the baby was born so i had no idea what was goin on untill he was 10 months n she came to live with me n alabama, when i saw her neglecting him i called her out on it n she looked me n the eye n told me she hates him n never wanted him so thats when i said step up n b a mom or sign him over, so chooce to sign him over so i got a lawyer, payed for it out of my tax money, n adopted him

you should spend some money to go back to school, it will benefit you and your child.
