im 21 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. she only likes to kick when im about to go to sleep.is that bad ? or should she be kicking during the dayy ? i also cant feel her kick when im standing only when im sitting or laying down ? is this normal ?

that's because that's the only time of day you are quiet enough and not distracted so you notice her.

ur only 21wks still early to worry about regular kicks, i didnt even feel my son kicking until about 23wks ish

so no worries its awesome ur feeling her everyday =)

its totally normal. I am sure your LO is moving during the day but when u are active its less noticeable.

perfectly normal. The only worries you should have with movement is if you don't notice any for a long time, like an entire day without feeling anything.

I was the same! I used to worry and go and get checked out, but she was fine. The placenta was infront of her ? The reason i had trouble xx

Babies are frequently still when you are active, because the motion is soothing to them. Also, you are moving, so you are less likely to notice.

When you are still, like when you are trying to sleep, you are more likely to notice the movement, plus they are more likely to move because they aren't being soothed by your motion.

I asked the same question to my obgyn with my 1st pregnancy and she said it was perfectly normal. The way she explained it to me is that during the day you're basically rocking the baby as you walk but once you stop and lay down they wake up kind of saying "wait, what happen? Why did the nice soothing rocking stopped??" I know it sounds ridiculous but believe it or not that's what my doctor told me. Hehe... and if you think about it , it makes sense...
