Kids with the same middle name?

Is it weird to give your kids the same middle name? Not twins or anything and the kids being either both boys or both girls.

Just curious.

I don't believe so. It's just a middle name.
I was going to give my sons the same middle name but last minute decided not to.

if it was a family name that was passed down quite often then no. If its just a name you like... then i think its weird.

my middle name is lindsay

and my young sisters first name is Lindsay

My SO, his brother, his dad and his dad's day all have the same middle name. When he wanted our LO to also have that name I said no smurfing way

my ex told me that if we had another boy that he would have the same middle name as our first son and him. We had many fights about it.

I would never do that. It is tacky and lazy.

This is the reason we wanted them to have the same middle names to carry on the name.

I think my bosses kids both have his first name for their middle name, nathan. its whatev. to each their own. I dont think its weird, different, but not weird. my mom and her sister both have lynn for a middle name, but my moms has 2 n's and my aunt has 1. But they also have different dads.

My son is Davin Anthony my husbands name is Anthony the two names I like for boys sound good with Anthony and idk what else to pick because I want a meaning behind his name not just a name.. Haha I still have awhile I just wanted to know if it was odd to use his name twice if we have another boy

I was wondering the same thing. Cuz SIs dad had the middle name Edward and so does SO and LO it's like a tradition. But he was their only boy, so if I have another boy should it be Edward too? It's not about being lazy but sticking to tradition and keeping it fair.

Haha ok I'm not doing it in a lazy way maybe I should dig deeper for a different name LOL
