Sharing

Okay so my cute little man (8m) loves loves his binkie. He does this thing now where when I'm holding him or sitting and playing with him he will take the pacifier out of his mouth and put it in my mouth. I will hold it there for a minute, and then he takes it back. When he takes it back I smile and say "Oh thank you! How delicious!". He's trying to share with me! Everyone thinks it is so disgusting. But I think it's cute. WHat do you think?

eh. it is kind of cute. just make sure he doesnt share it with like the dog or anything lol

i think its cute, but i wouldnt really want my DDs paci in my mouth.

LO does that with us still and she's one. But she will try to force it in there like the turd she is. Haha.

I wouldn't do it, because it grosses me out. Also, my son's dentist told me that we can pass on a bacteria that is what causes cavities by doing that. We carry it in our saliva as adults.

The sharing part IS cute. My LO tries this too. He's eight months, also. But, when he actually get's his paci in my mouth, I don't let it touch my tongue or teeth, I curl my lips in and hold it there. Then he'll take it back. I just think it's icky that my spit would be in his mouth... Besides, I eat things that he hasn't tried yet and I'm paranoid about him having an allergic reaction...

Bah, the dog comes over nd licks DS's face, and he just keeps his mouth open. I gotta shoo her away constantly it grosses me out so much.

hmm good point. I usually wash it off not too long after he does it.

I think its adorable.  
I don't see anything wrong with it, nor does it gross me out in any way.
