How long did you bleed after the abortion pill?

I took the abortion pill and started bleeding last sat.......how long did you bleed for? Im still bleeding a pretty good amount.

No im referring to the abortion pill....You have to go to planned parenthood. You take one in the office to stop the growth and then 4 at home to make you miscarry.

No, she's talking about the at-home pill option, compared to a surgical abortion.

She took the abortion pill.... Op ive heard u can bleed a week to 2 weeks. The bleeding should subside and if it doesnt in the next few days id call the place you got it from.

Usually 4-6 weeks depending. It varies from person to person

Yes, its called Mistoprosol or Cytotec. I just googled it lol.

For me, it was about a week, which is only a few days more than one of my normal periods.

thanks for all of you being so quick to jump on my case! cant help someone if u dont know the circumstances so it was absolutely appropriate to confirm what was used.

bleeding time can depend on how far along you were, i used it at 5 weeks and only bled for a week, i have a friend that had to use it for a miscarriage at 9 weeks and she bled for closer to 2 weeks. best of luck and check with your doc or clinic if you go past 2 weeks
