No movement...

posted 22nd Jun '12
Hi girls, Im 33 weeks today and havent felt my baby girl moving for the past 3 hours now, I've had my tea and usually she starts around then and i've tried having a cold drink and laying down for a while but still nothing, Over the last couple of days aswell, when she does move she doesnt seem as strong as usual and i was just wondering if any of this is normal at this stage? Quite worried

Do you have any of the belts from the hospital... if so take them and put somethign like an ashtray/camera under it and wait.......somethign heavy... if you dont have the belts take something that goes around you and also put something a lil heavy... Eat something before if she doesnt respond after like an hour TOPS call ....

Go in now. That's not normal at your stage.

I agree with the ladies, go get checked out, better safe than sorry. You should be getting at least 10 seperate movements within two hours.

anything to put just a lil pressure on the stomach like the monitors do at the hospital... for some reason they always get baby moving .. next time you go in if you arent having bb those are your belts to take if you wanted ;) i use my belt and a camera .. works everytime

Rang the midwife and she just told me to drink a glass of cold water and lay down and watch my belly for half an hour even though i told her i've already done that! So went upstairs, put the tightest top on i could find and stuck a camera under it and sure enough she started jiggling away!   I will be doing this all the time now! =) Thanks for the advice it was even better than the midwifes! BIG sigh of relief! =) xxx
