First Appointment!

Just want to say how excited I am! First dr. appointment and ultrasound is Monday! I will finally find out how far along I am!   And get to see Tadpole!

Cool. How far along do you think you are? Don't freak out if you don't get to see tadpole. You might not be far enough along yet. Good luck!

Good luck!   - the first time I saw my son, and then my twin girls, I was excited and terrified all at the same time. It makes it SO much more real!

I'm pretty sure I will be 6 weeks on Monday but I'm not 100 percent sure..

May not be able to see the little one that early. They could barely see anything when I was that early. They thought I was at least 10 weeks turned out they were way off! I love the name Rilynn, I almost named my daugter that but we switched to Briella. Where in VA do you live?

good luck.....I was in denial for a while about my pregnancy....had ultrasound at 18 weeks first dr appointment at 17 weeks..now only 2 more months left for me....

My first appointment is not until next Thursday. I was really hoping to get in much sooner but they were booked up. I figure I will be about 9 and a half weeks then. I've read a lot of the forums and I guess it's not unusual, i'm just overly paranoid and hope that after going to the doctor's I will be able to calm down a bit and let reality set in!  

congrats and hopefully you will be able to see your little peanut. My first appointment was at 8 weeks and the only reason they did an ultrasound was because multiples run in mine and SO's family.

i'm only going to my regular doctor. i'm hoping they are capable of doing an ultrasound or hear the heartbeat without having to refer me. i can't imagine having to wait even longer and i'm so paranoid.
