Quoting BrendansMommy2012:" I had my 20 week sonogram on Tuesday and they couldn't get a view of everything that they wanted to see ... [snip!] ... would be greatly appreciated. This is my first child and I worry so much and now I just want to know if something is wrong. "
I believe when they see an extra layer of skin on the neck they are concerned about Down's Syndrome. However, I also believe that having the quad-screen test at this point in your pregnancy wouldn't be accurate, anyway. (I believe it has to be done between the 14th and 18th week.) I am not 100% sure on that, however. I would definitely follow-up with whatever your doctor suggests. I am assuming they will send you for a level-two ultrasound and then possibly amniocentesis.
