Everyone struggling or has struggled with depression or any type of mental illness check out My Broken Palace, they are an amazing non profit organization made to help individuals through their hard times in life. They also have a website where you can log on anonymously and either get help, give encouragement, or talk to someone through their chat available 24/7. I highly recommend it.

Have you ever heard of TWLOHA (To Write Love On Her Arms). The girl that it's based around has an amazing story. It helped me a lot when I was struggling with self harming.

No, it's about a girl that was in the suicide state of mind, she tried, but no she didn't die. She was struggling a few addictions, drugs, suicide, etc. A man just helped her out, showed her life was so much more. He raised money for her to go to rehab, etc. Now they raise money for awareness, prevention, everything they can do to help.
