What did you use?

When you were in labour. I've heard lots of women use something to focus on during labour. I havent tried it with my other two labours, but I thiought I would try it this time around. Anyone have any ideas? I was planning on just picturing myself kicking my finace in the balls, but anyone elses suggestions are welcome.

We actually brought DVDs and watched comedy movies that I can't but laugh at. It didn't help during contractions, but it was a release to laugh between them! And I had my mom, husband, and best friend, so they helped distract me a lot. Oh, and lots of moaning....moaning helped a lot, for some reason! Good luck !

With my first I was soo excited so I just used the breathing but with the second I did word puzzles and read magazines while I rocked .

My mom got me a rock magazine with Avenged Sevenfold in it so i got to look at cute guys..hehe..and a penguin. I held onto the penguin while i was pushing. Cartoon Network was on the tv because i was watching tom and jerry and then some weird cartoon was on but i was about to push so i couldnt change the channel .Thats alright though.

Ok, thanks for the ideas. I know there anre no tvs in the delivery room where im delivering. You can have music, so maybe ill make a cd or something. It's only going to be me and my finace in the delivery room ( i would go bonkers with anyone else in there with me) I've heard of people using pictures to focus on...I dont know.

The baby book is smart! When they stamped her feet, I went ahead and had them do her baby book at the same time !
