Why is everyone so against

Circumcision? (Don't think I spelled that right)

Just wondering I've always thought that's just what you're supposed to do with your baby boy.

For those who are against it why?
Same with those who are for it why?

It's unnecessary.

And I have seen like 98390348 circumcision posts today, whhhhhyyyyy?!

In Australia it's just not done. Not talked about, you see we think there's more important things discuss with people about your child than what his dick will look like. It pisses me off when uneducated people seem to think that uncircumcised men are rife with disease and infection when (as a nurse) I have never come across a foreskin related problem, American men most be horrifically dirty and unhygienic creatures to have so many issues involving their genitals

im not getting my baby done and im due next week im not getting it done because i feel that is the way god made you why change it and plus he is half haspanic and its there religon not to but if other ppl chose to get it done thats them i do not judge... its there child

It's medically unnecessary. And painful. And making a permanent choice for a child who will never get a say.

I'm not going to circumsize my boys (if I ever have any) for 2 reasons. 1) SO isn't circumsized and has no issue. and 2) I wouldn't want someone cutting some of my dick off without my permission.

My husband isnt, my son is. We both chose that for him, My husband says he is uncomfortable not being, says he wished his mom would have had it done for him. But I always reassure him I dont care what it looks like and hes perfect the way he is. But we did it for my son for religious purposes. Plus to me its cleaner but everyone has a different opinion

If I had a son it would be done I have taken care of many men that werent cut that wish they were. It gets much worse to have it done when your older.

I have never had one man complain about being circumcised. there was one girl on here who said her SO wishes he could have sex with his foreskin attached and it apparently really bothered me. but she is also a nazi about this, so who knows.

other than that, no one has ever complained to me about it. SO smurfing laughed when i asked if he wished he had it in tact.
