WWYD?

A few weeks ago, my 3 year old daughter was hanging out with my little sister. She had told me when they were together that my daughter put her hands around her neck and started choking her. She obviously stopped her and asked who taught her that and she said 'my daddy.'

Now tonight, she did the same thing to me. Again, I asked her who taught her that. She said the same answer.

About a year ago, when she was 2 she witnessed him tackle me and put me in a head lock. For MONTHS she had told me "I'm so sorry Daddy is mean to Mommy.." Ever since then, I've had a PPO on him. I'm kinda lost on what to do about this.. obviously I can't confront him. He doesn't pay his child support and he has only practiced his visitation probably 5% of the time so I'm planning on taking him to court in a year to try to get the judges okay to move to Hawaii with my boyfriend.

WWYD in this case? Document it and use it later? Take it seriously? I can't imagine him putting hands on my little girl, but then again.. maybe he's doing it to his current girlfriend and thats where she's getting it from? Any advice would be appreciative.

take it seriously if he is doing it to your child you need to call the police

Always take it seriously. When my ex was abusing my daughter, I ignored my gut feeling. It took me seeing it with my own eyes to believe it.

As smurffy as he is, I can't imagine him doing that to her. If it was my guess, he is abusing his girlfriend and she is witnessing it.

That's still pretty serious, I would take her to a counselor to have it documented. I
m not sure what else you can do outside of that.

i would report it now. that way it can be investigated and docutment either way, whether he is abusing your daughter or his girlfriend

Which is equally as bad, especially considering your daughter is repeating the behavior.

wasnt he on steriods or some smurf? Or were we just making fun of him and saying it looked like he was? I ask because ive heard that steriods can cause you to be violent like that :/

Yup, he's always been emotionally abusive but the physical violence started when he started taking steriods. That's definetly what I think started it. He looks SO bad now.. he's got this tiny little head and a big ass shoulders lol

An ex of mine did steroids about a year and a half into our relationship, and he took a complete turn for the worse violence wise, not directed toward me, but toward other guys that would just LOOK at me. Ect. That smurf is no joke.   And he was the sweetest guy ever before that. Its really sad that a guy will compromise himself as a person to get bigger the easy way.

i only just saw this, and im not sure if anyone asked yet but did ytour daughter ever have any marks?
