Dental Assistant Questions! :)

First off any helpful & additional info would be great 

I'm going to school to become a dental assistant, I should be done in October.
Anyway, I'm wondering if you are a RDA what do you like about your job?
& what do you dislike?
What is a normal day for you?
Was it hard finding a job after you became a RDA?
& Should I just look on job postings for a job or should I just go into Dental offices asking if they are hiring or ask to speak to someone about job openings..

Sorry guys I'm new to this job scene haven't had one since before my LO's were born.

Have you done your clinical hours already? A lot of practices will let you do the clinical hours with them and will hire you right out of school.

I was a dental assistant and I loved my job...but the I became an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Technician and after that dental assisting was boring. I wouldn't go back to it. But it was great while it lasted!

No i haven't done clinical hours. I just started last Saturday, Its hands on and some lecture. But I don't know, do I just go into a dental office and ask?

Yeah, just look up the offices near you and call them or go there in person and ask them if they're looking for new people and if they're willing to give you the clinical hours.

I like it, starting school to be a dentist next year. what do i hate? smurf patients that stop swallowing when they sit in the chair and root canals. super boring..   hard to get a job? no bc of the program i did. normal day? fillings, OR, root canals, crowns, night gards,
