question about circ and non-circ.

This is going to be a post and run, I will be back later. My 2 year old is circumsized, which was not the choice I personally wanted. I did it because it was what my mother pushed me into doing. I am expecting baby boy # 2 in oct I do not wnt to circumsize him. My SO is not circumsized and I have educated myself and believe it is not needed.

Okay, the question is would it be wrong of me to not circumsize this bby since I did circumsize my 2 yr. Old? (Which I regret) my sister brought up having to explain why my 2 year olds penis is different than his brothers and fathers penis.

How will they know unless you tell them? The older one I don't think will know the difference.

I have three boys , 2 are circed one isn't.
The away I see it, when you know better , you do better.
With my first , never thought much about it.
With my second, I knew much more and really didn't want to do it but in the end gave in, they botched it

It would be wrong to go against your conscience on a topic for the sake off appearances IMO. Just tell him that everybody's bodies are a little different until he's old enough to understand some basic reasons for you choices......no harm in being honest with him.

No, it would be wrong to circ #2 just because #1 is cut. Explain it to them when they get older, and if they even ask. I plan on doing the same.

My husband and his siblings are mixed in that aspect (some of them are, some aren't). They never had an issue with the differences.

i know exactly what you mean! I contemplate this with my daughters and delaying vaccinations, you feel guilty because you wish you had known before and educated yourself and you feel like you screwed your first child. It sucks!

Anyway what I was going to say was that my boys just don't care. Even the circed boys look different from each other. Basically I've told them that everyone has different penises.they were like ok. Lol
No big deal.

Not to mention would you alter your second child's body in any other way just to make him match a sibling?

Shower time? Naked party time after going to the beach? You don't have to talk about it for there to be times when 2 kids need to change at the same time where one might notice differences.
