Tip of penis purple???Help?

My 16 month old son's tip of his penis is purple just noticed it today when I changed his diaper wasn't like that yesterday..what could it be? Ill try to post a pic later but I'm on my phone right now.

My son's was really dark red at one point, it was a yeast infection. Idk about purple though,

ETA: Also my son is not circumcised.

is he intact or circ'd?

My nephews did that once and he had a small hair wrapped around the tip that you couldnt hardly see.

There's not a hair or something hard to see that might be wrapped around it, is there? That happened to DS, it was so tight we couldn't see it but it was definitely cutting off circulation.

I just googled this and on BabyCenter.com there were quite a few mothers that said that it was completely normal especially for a circumcised LO. They said that the air hitting it or them fixing to urinate could cause it. I am due in October with my first little boy so I was curious as to what could cause it.

He is circumsized. My sister watches him while I work she texted me freaking and when I got home I changed him and the more I look at it in the light its red and purple just on the head and plotches of purple. My sister googled something about poor circulation but idk his eyes stay purple underneath but I'm sure its bc his allergies. I'm going to try to post a pic but its really hard to do on my phone.

The whole head or just blotchy areas?

My boy always seems to have a bluish head.

Not the whole head is purple just bottom part by his pee hole and its red too...I took him to the dr and he said it appeared to be a bruise but he said if it don't look any better in a few days he is going to refer him to a urologist. Idk how it could have got bruised but he is really clumsy and my sister daid maybe got it snapped in the carseat but you'd think he'd scream or something idk.
