She's here!

Came in at 7am for induction, started meds about 8am. Epidural at 10. She arrived at 3:30pm after only 5 pushes!   Cannot wait to post pictures!

Short labor, lucky. Mine lasted 22 hours and hours of pushing. Congrats

I was planning on waiting till I was at least 6 cm to get my epidural, but as soon as he broke my water at 3cm and they turned up the meds, I couldn't take it and caved. I dilated from 4-10 within 1 1/2 hrs.   I was surprised when she checked me and said it was time to get the room ready.

The nurses made me do maybe 5 test pushes, 4 pushes per contraction. After the doctor arrived in the room, I pushed maybe 1 1/2 times before he was telling me to stop and there she was!!!!

She's been amazing so far. Great at latching (only when she's hungry) and nursing. Doesn't really cry unless you unwrap her or put a cold wipe on her butt.

Its alright.
as soon as my ob broke my water at 3cm, I cried for an epi because it hurt so bad. I went from a 3 to 10cm in 45 minutes.

That's great with the latching. My first had trouble with it for days and so I FF feed her.
