I survivied my first Lap!

the surgery went well, he was able to remove cysts from both ovaries, the endometriosis, and all the scar tissue that has built up. I also had to have a D&C. He said he's confident that he got it all. So hopefully we'll be able to conceive before it all comes back and I have to do this again, lol.
My doctor told my husband he wants me to wait 6 months now before I can get pregnant, which is longer than I had wanted, but there's still hope for 2008 so that's good! Would be awesome to get a BFP for Christmas!

thank you guys so much. I'm really in shock about all the support I have gotten. I think I'm emotional from them messing with my ovaries or something, lol. I'm still in a lot of pain, a whole lot more than I was expecting, but I'm finally keeping water and food down so I'm hoping after I eat I'll feel even better.

*Hugs!* I'm glad you made it out okay. Take the recovery time as it comes. I had the same procedure done and my doctor had originally told us 3 months to wait, but at my post-op, he bumped it up so here's to hoping and having a BFP before the end of the year!

k so for all of you that have had the Lap, how long am I going to be throwing up. It's day 3 and I'm throwing up again! Is there anything I can do for it? Also how long does the gas pain stay cause it's finally found it's spot and it's not budging!
