re: Finley or Aurelia

I'm completely aware that "Finley" is typically a boys name, but so is Jordan, Dylan, Blake, Quinn and Rory.
The thing we're running into with the name Aurelia (ah RAYL yah) is people always pronounce it wrong, or they shorten it to "rails"

Personally.....I can't stand boy names on girls.....but obviously many others feel differently.

Quinn is definitely a unisex name. Not sure about the others though.

OP Finley is a masculine name. Aurelia is lovely.

Rory's name on Gilmore Girls was Lorelei....

Aurelia was almost my daughters middle name. But my mother in law asked if that's what the medical word for nipple was and it ruined it for me. Then all I could think of was Areola or nipple. I don't like finley for a girl at all.

Finley is a boys name, I love Aurelia though.

Ok my bad, I thought for sure I watch an episode that gave her real name as Aurora. But you're right. I wasn't an avid watcher anyways so no biggie.

Doesn't change that Rory is often a nn for Aurora though, which was my point in the beginning, heh.

I don't like Finley for a girl, but I do like Aurelia.

Also, both the mother and daughter were named Lorelai.

Well if she comes out with a penis then Finley would be great.

Honestly, I absolutley love Finley. I might spell it "Finleigh," but thats just me. Good luck with picking a name (:
