White bread is digusting, with no nutritional value, except fats, and salts.
Sprouted grains are whats what lol.

I agree that white bread is a huge factor. It turns directly into sugar in your body, most of which then turns into fat unless you burn it off.

Theres no such thing as "healthy" fast food restaurants lol.

They have that "whole white" bread now. Tastes the same as white bread, but has all the nutrients of whole wheat. I hate the taste of white bread though, bleck.

I do think some of them are better than others. Chick Fillet does try...I enjoy their grilled chicken salads. Wendy's at least has other options besides french fries.
Certain places, like Burger King, are just disgusting and don't even try to improve their menus.

It all depends on what you choose to eat and how often you eat it and if whether or not you're living an active lifestyle. Food is food and ultimately it's nutrition and energy. I'll be the first to say fast food isn't a good option and infact I can't even remember the last time I ate fast food, but you can make healthy choices even at fast food restaurants.

Pfft, have you read the calorie amounts from the Mcdonalds fruit and yougurt?
Sure, its healthy sounding, but they don't tell you that its also so loaded with sugars, and processed fruits that are also covered in sugar. Theres about as much sugar as a meduim soda!
The apple slices are covered in an artificial preservative to keep them "fresh" and to keep them from browning.

The sugar that comes from fruit is healthy sugar. You need the sugars and calories from sugar and you can't deny that fruit is a healthy choice, no matter where it's from but especially from fast food places. Even yogurt, with fruit or added sugar, is MUCH healthier. What is it that you eat to be healthy? I would hope you don't exclude fruits. As far as preservatives, I agree... those aren't good. If I have the option to I always try to get fresh foods. Unfortunately fresh and organic can be expensive, so for the families that have to make a fast food trip every other week, they CAN make healthy choices.
By the way, just googled it, the fruit and yogurt parfait only has 160 calories, but comparing fruit and yogurt to coke is completely different -- again, fruit and yogurt calories are the good ones your body needs.

yes, I have seen Super Size Me. The point is to make healthy decisions. You make is sound impossible. It's not. It's a practical way of living in reality.

i have watched super size me and i do agree that mcdonalds and fast food is disgusting, tastes good but honestly i can't think of anything worse for you. but i think the movie was a LITTLE extreme i mean honestly who really eats mcdonalds for 3 meals a day?! i think it was an excellent documentary for the most part, and it really opened my eyes to the fast food phenomenon but i think it could have been a little more reasonable.

Having worked fast food for nearly 10 yrs, I can tell you, a LOT of people do eat it for every meal. Esp. senior citizens. I feel bad for them.
