Okay ladies I have a qeustion, I don't have a BBT thermometer so will just a regular digital work till I get a BBT one? I think I read in the book that I could but I'm not sure. Also I never get EWCM my most fertile is milky so I was wondering the few creamy cm I get before the milky are they my most fertile phase? I just want to make sure I'm reading the book right and I don't mess up on my chart lol...

Nope, you've got to get a BBT one. They read two digits past the decimal point and normal digital ones only read one past. They're just not as accurate, but I guess you could try it out like that.

I didn't get EWCM this past cycle either, but it's the slippery CM that's your fertile stuff, not the creamy one.

Hope that helps!

A regular will work until you get your BBT. As long as the thermometer you're using is accurate, that's the mostimportant thing.
I have used just a regular one for a couple of years and gotten very accurate results. Its started to make a sound like a dying cat when it beeps so I decided to get a BBT since I needed a new one. I don't know if it was just the brand or what but that thing was all over the charts. And I could take 3 temps back to back and they would be 2-3 degrees different. I got another one just like my old one and it went back to perfect. I was probablly partly human error on my part but my BBT also takes a long time to read and if my son's crying for me I don't like to take long.

that's good to know that a regular one can give good results.
