re: July Moms! =)

I'm 38+1 and can not wait to meet my little girl. I am due July 9th and really thought the other night that tonight is the night as I was having regular pains for an hour that were quite strong until they just stopped, I was so gutted. I've been trying everything to help bring on labour from Hot Curry, Raspberry leaf tea as I'm in so much pain below and suffering BH often with lower back ache. Any suggestions lol.

Hi Shelly there are several herbal remedies you can try if you search herbs to bring on labour on google it will bring up lots of pages and from there you can use what is best for you good luck hope baby comes soon Nicky

I am 36 weeks today!! I lost my mucus plug on staurday and had a few pains yesterrday!! but other then that im due on July 24th but im getting induced on the 17th thinking about doing some squats and seeif that helps bring her on!! i went to the doc on thursday and i was 50% effaced and not dialated! this is my second child!!

Bigger doesn't always mean healthier.
I'd at least wait until 37+ weeks before you think about inducing.
Just to be on the safe side.

My doc is not going to induce untill the 17th of july and I will be 39 weeks. with my son i was induced 10 days early because of health issues. with him. this baby is healthier neither one of us hass had any health issues the entire pregnacy!

My doc is inducing me at 39 weeks as well.
But just because YOU haven't had any health problems, doesn't really mean that this baby is healthier. There are are babies born who still have to be in the NICU due to their due dates being wrong. I'm not trying to be rude here, just saying. Until the week of your induction, I wouldn't try anything, just to be on the safe side. I bet would hate for your baby to come out and have to be in th NICU because you couldn't wait and induced labor on your own.

I am 37 weeks and 2 days! I am SO over being pregnant! I have 2 girls that I have to chase after and I am so tired! I am having a girl! I go to the doctor tomorrow so they can do an ultrasound to check my fluid. Doctor thinks it may be to low. SO if it is too low they will be sending me to the hospital to have the baby! I am ready for her to come. I have been doing Evening Primrose Oil since 36 weeks and then last night I made Scalini's Eggplant Parmigana. This recipe can be found online. It is said to put you into labor within 48 hours. I had some false labor last night, but nothing else has happened. Also, I started drinking Red Raspberry Tea last night too. SO I am ready to get this show on the road. But if I don't go into labor by the 11th my doctor will induce me on that day. I can't wait. I am nervous about having 3 kids, but I think I will sleep better when I get to sleep when she is here.

Well last night was night number 3 contractions, back pain, and nausea that comes and goes.

I am 36 and 1/2 weeks but they said last visit that I am probably 37 1/2. Either way if I go into labor in the next week or so I will be able to have a vaginal delivery. If not they are going to c-section due to the risks for my hip.

So I'm hoping its very soon!

having my 3rd baby in 3 weeks i had c sections with the other 2 and never lost a mucus plug i thought if u lost a mucas plug that ment labor was coming soon?? whats the longest all u ladies from experince had to wait for labor after loosing a mucas plug??

i dont really have hip trouble but my hips have been locking up when i sit and hurts when i try to get back up i go for my next check up on the 3rd im almost 37 weeks i think its just from the extra baby weight tho

Yeah, I had hip surgery 3 years ago from a car wreck. I have pins and screws and all that fun stuff. So if he measures too big they don't want me risking more injury to my hip.

But of course if possible I want to give birth vaginally. We will see. Next OB appointment is Thursday morning. Hoping she will check to see if I have dilated any. We are so close though, and its ALL I think about. haha

I always lost mine well into labor [like 7-8 hours!] but my mom lost hers around 37 weeks with all 5 of us...depends on your body I guess :/ mine likes to wait haha
