I don't even know how much the zoo here costs. We accidentally went in without paying.
But, we did spend 500¥ on pony rides.

I brought guys around my then 1 yr old. Most of em I didn't date but if you do like him, do something kid appropriate during the day & then at night put your kid to bed & spend some quality time w/ the guy ?

Lmao, how do you accidentally not pay at a zoo?    Usually they have those huge gates, but it probably is diff there if you went in without paying. Idk what that converts to here lol.

Well yea true lol, but I think before I bring him to my house we will go out on kid fun days. She is so little now so she wouldn't understand anyways.

I brought DH around DD before we ever started dating. Some guys can be awesome with kids one second...and be complete smurfs to them the next. Having them around your kid before you start dating, and having him spend time with you and your child is a good way to tell if he feels frustration ect. Which imo is a good thing, Gah knows you don't want to start having feelings for a guy, and then realize, when it comes to your child....he's a real POS.
But that's just my method I used. lol.
No harm no foul if things didn't work out after 1 game of putt putt.
Big deal (for me) If I started having feelings for some guy, brought him around my kid...and realized he was a d-bag.

True! Very valid point. I know a lot of people think it is taboo to bring your kid around a dude you barely know but if he just a friend at first no harm if it doesn't work out and like you said if he is a d-bag with my DD he will get the boot.

I don't think it's taboo
For me it was just easier. It's so much easier to give the boot to a guy you have no feelings for.   Besides...Free fun for your daughter.   My favorite first "date" was with DH and DD at the water park. Watching him play with her, and seeing how well they interacted....filled my heart with joy.   Worst "date"? Putt putt....different guy..total d-bag. Got frustrated because DD couldn't get the ball in the hole. Never spoke to him again.

Yea, I think it really shows a guys character when he is great with kids.
