Support belt for after pregnancy...eg: belly bandit

posted 20th Jun '12
Did you use one? Did it help with your abdominal muscles? My muscles have separated quite a bit and I want them to get back to normal as swiftly as possible.

What sort of belt did you use? Could I use a typical sports belt or something that's not as expensive as the belly bandit?

I've heard negative and positive things about those, did you checkout the reviews?

I can't imagine they'd work any differently than spanx!

I used one with LF after my C sec, and I wish I would have used one after the twins. I worked REALLY well. My belly was almost back to normal in just a couple days.

I was shocked.

And you can google "abdominal binder after tummy tuck" and use those. Mine was like $10.

I don't know the brand name one you are talking about though, so I'm assuming it's the same thing.

I didn't use one with either of my first two either and my belt went back to normal super fast. It's not the appearance of my belly I'm worked about. I'm worried about my diastasis recti (separated abs). I want to do whatever I can to help decrease the separation.

Type in "Post Partum Belly" in the search bar, its the same way I found this thread. There's a girl who found the belly bandit on ebay for a good price and dropped a ton of her belly in 6 days. She posted pictures.

I'm not jumpy. Cool as a cucumber, actually.

I was looking for womens' experience with support belts on bg. I googled the belts before making this thread but felt I needed more. I just enjoy hearing from women I know. I know a lot of women on here.
