How often does a tubal ligation fail?

I had a tubal after having my son in January. Ubhave had my period every month since, except for this month. Last week I spotted for two days pink blood but just when I wiped. Now this week there is sti a little bit of pinkish blood when I wipe and also clotting when I use the restroom. And my period was supposed to start last week. Anyone loose their period after a tubal? Anyone get pregnant after having one?

Mine's been good for over three years now.

A good friend of mine did have an ectopic within the first year of her tubal. It's not common though.

I didn't have one for 2 months in a row and I had it done 2 years ago. Those 2 months freaked me out but it came back with a vengence! lol

Oh no! I'm Hoping to not be pregnant but wouldn't mind if aunt flow didn't want to come visit at all anymore lol

It would be very rare if you were but it's not impossible. I'm not sure what delayed mine for 2 months but it would have suited me fine if it never came back.

Do you know what exactly you had done? Cut? Cut and cauterized? Tied off? Failure rates vary, depending on those factors.

My cousins GF was concieved after her Moms tubal.
I didn't believe her but then her Mom confirmed it. lol

I do not.... I needed up going into labor before my scheduled c section and I didbt get the doc I was supposed to

Mine are cut and cauterized and my doctor told me that that's slightly more effective than the pill. If they were just cut, they can reattach, but that method is still about as effective as the pill. Just tied off is the least effective of all.
