I'm only 6-7 weeks pregnan but already thinking about Post Partum Depression. I had only mild cases with my two previous children, mainly crying jags. I should also note it's been 9 years since my youngest was born! So, it's almost like this is a first time pregnancy, you'd be amazed how much has changed in over 9 years. Anymore headway into information on PPD, how to prevent, cope, deal? I just know I'll probably get a case of the blues since I'm prone to depression to begin with, and will be caring for THREE children very soon.
IDK....wish I did. I always go through a period of a couple days after I come home where I cry over nothing, want no visitors (get them anyway), and wonder how I'm gonna take care of these kids. This is classified as the blues for me also, because it goes away quickly, but I wish there was a way to avoid it. I HATE that feeling!

this it may sound gross but I heard it works wonders. I plan on having it done after this baby is born. It is supposed help with a ton of other stuff as well.

im sorry, but what is "placenta encapsulation", I apologize but i have never heard of it............ I have issues with depression but never experienced PPD except with my son (who i lost at 29w 6d) and my youngest daughter (who was born early at 29w) But, maybe if you get excited about everything and TRY to get wrapped up in everything with your kids and the new baby, and include them as much as possible with the pregnancy, maybe that will help?
