Labour VS cutting ur finger

last night Michael (my bf) cut the tip of his finger at work(he is a chef) like just under the nail kinda tip, he was bitching about it allll night so i finally said to him that it couldnt have been as bad as labour, and he is like of how about i cut the tip of ur finger and we can find out needless to say im not that stupid...anyways i was just wondering what you thought would be more painfull just to prove to him im not over exaguating(sp) labour, he seems to think labour is nothing, could possibly hurt because i ddint scream or cry, umm yeah during my contractions i was screaming btu trying not too and i couldnt cry because i was in too much pain dick head sorry. so what do you think is worse labour or a cut finger?

*BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH* I think Mr Mike over there needs to be DEPRIVED for a long long time lol. Even after the six week clearance he needs to be deprived until he agrees lmao!

oh he will be, not just for this either lol, blah i cant believe im already 4 weeks pp gone so fast!! he is 1 month old tomorrow and he gets to met my mummy on his 1 month bday haha i cant wait!!

haha she already has, 3 4 times a week i get a big 3 4 kgs package in the mail full of clothes for him ive ran out of room to put all his clothes has two wordrobs full two storage containers, and a couch covered in clothes lol, WTF am i supose to do with them all haha

A cut finger RIGHT NOW hurts more than the memory of labor. Now if you were experiencing contractions and he was going on and on about his finger at the same time, that would be one thing, but instead you minimized his real suffering in the moment by trying to play one-ups with him just to shut him up. If he responded that labor must not have been a big deal, you have to understand that he was in pain and kind of pissed that you weren't being sympathetic.

Are you seriously never going to complain about a headache or menstrual cramps again in your whole life just because it wasn't as bad as labor? I doubt it.

i have never had cramps before and with head achs i just deal with them myself, and i was sypathetic to him, but when he keeps going on and on about it like its the end of the world im sure you would get sick of it, he was acting like a 2 year old with a grazed knee, and yes i can see it would be very painfull but was there really a need to go on about it like that, then yell at me when i was trying to cover it up so it wouldnt get all gross?
