body wraps

posted 8th May
Has anyone heard or tried the body wraps? I've seen it on tv and magazines and even my local news station had a whole story on it. It's a mineral wrap that goes around your body tightly for 1 hr and its been said that you will lose 10-30inches off your entire body (mainly the midsection) in just 1 hour or your wrap is free. I am so tempted to go do the body wrap to tone up my body (perfect mothers day present) They offer it here in the bay area for about 125$.

--it's not water weight that you're losing either cause it's actually "wet" wraps that they wrap you with..it's soaked with minerals and they even encourage you to drink tons of water after the wrap is done.

Any input on it would be great..

It works but is not pemanent by any means, a friend of mine did it,and was just as fat as she started out as within a few days-a gym membership is a better investment if you ask me.

I was just wondering about that myself the other day - someone gave me a coupon for a free trial wrap. Too bad it's not permanent. I guess there's no quick cure for extra weight.

There's no qiuck fix,unfortunately-but a little bit of effort every day adds up fast.I'm always amazed at how easy it is to get in better shape once I actually drag my ass to the gym.
A body wrap might just feel really good too,and be worth it that way.

Really? It's not permanent? They advertised that if you follow a good diet and exercise daily that you can keep the inches off you..and if not it'll come right back in 2-4months. I think it'll give me a lil push to maintain my body image. I'm not trying to lose weight drastically, maybe just another 5-10lbs.. my prepregnacy clothes are still a bit tight and i look like a muffin top in my jeans.
