2 day old breastfed

How often did your 2 day old eat?
Breastfed baby.

All day!

Like every 30 minutes or less.

My first, about every half hour. My second, every 4 hours.

They should be nursing very often. If it's been more than 2 hours offer the boob. Baby needs to be eating frequently to boost your supply and to satisfy their tummy.

All day. Slept all night.

My youngest nursed for about 20 minutes every hour at that age. It gets spaced further apart as they get a little older and their tummy can hold more.

She was supposed to eat every 2 hours. She had jaundice so she didn't.

I had to offer mine the boob every 3 hours. She only ate like three times when she was 2 days old.

Mine was cluster feeding. It was like every 15-30 minutes.

Well, my daughter is a tiny bit jaundiced. We just came home. Its 7, she hasnt ate since 3 ish. Im offering she wont do it she jist wants to sleep. Shes had 1 wet and 1 poo today.

Thats how my baby was and the nurses in the hospital weren't worried because I kept offering it to her every 3 hours. She didn't really eat good until my milk came in.

Shes VERY lethargic wont even get mad or cry. Were headed to childrens hospital. Pediatrician thinks something is wrong.
