hemroids...

posted 7th May
Ok, so this is baby #2 for me. W/ my son he weighed 9lbs 7oz and I had no issues...smooth delivery and no pp problems. W/ this baby she weighed 9lbs 5oz. My epi. wore off (well, quit working and I didn't want to re-run the damn thing), the catheter was KILLING me (her head was bouncing off the bulb causing more pain than the actual LABOR!) so I still have peeing 'issues', and now b/c I was ready to get her the hell OUT I have hemroids....I've never had them and I was wondering

When do they go away and will they come back?!

I delivered 4/25. At what point do I call the doctor and say 'WTH can you do to help me!'. I know sometimes they have to operate on them, but how do I know if I need to go to this extreme? And when I do get rid of them (on their own or operation) can they reoccur?!

I hate 'em

Well I would call the doctor the medicine they give you is way better than anything you can get over the counter! And they usually remove them if they are bleeding or causing alot of discomfort!

I had my 6 week PP check-up on Monday. I have one hemroid that isn't painful or bothersome but it showed up in my second trimester & still hadn't gone away yet. So i asked my OB and he said that it will never just go away. If it starts to bleed a lot or gets painful, they can remove them but otherwise you just let them be.

I know this may be really dumb.. but how do you know if you have them? DO u feel them? are they hangy? or is it just uncomfortable to poo?

This is kind of gross, but I figured out I had one when I pooped and there was a little bit of blood in it. After I wiped, I felt around and sure enough there was a hemroid there. It isn't hangy, at least mine isn't. It is just a really small raised bump near the opening of your anus. I heard that sometimes they can be inside your anus too, but I don't have anything like that. Those are probably the more painful ones though. Also, kinda gross again, but I looked up images on the internet to be sure that what I had was indeed a hemroid and I saw some nasty more severe types of hemroids. They can range in size. I'm sure you'd be able to feel larger hemroids but because mine is so small I don't feel like it is there, not even when I poo unless I'm super constipated.

yeah you feel them! OMFG! I do ok if I'm at home, but when we go anywhere it hurts to ride. and I own an Escalade!

I get scared to poo too =[ When I feel it coming I wait until I absolutely have to go, and I have Tucks pads and Prep. H creme on hand and waiting!
