Did you have a baby born in January/February?!

DH and I are thinking of the perfect time to TTC. Initially we were thinking of having a Summer baby, but many people have said being pregnant in the Summer/baby in the Summer is not fun at all due to the heat and such.

I live in NY and Summers are brutally humid/sticky/hot/gross  

Then we started thinking January/February, and I was just wondering some pros/cons from mamas that had a baby in January/February. It's very chilly here then, so we don't generally go out much anyway.. and I feel like it'll be easier to make sure the baby is nice and bundled up and warm, as opposed to keeping cool in the Summer..

I loveeee when his birthday is.
Baby #2 is due in August   & honestly it sucks balls.   I hate that I have to worry about him being cool in this hot weather and I am so uncomfortable.

It's soo much easier like you said, to keep baby warm. Rather than cool.
I had to keep the first born cool, and the second born warm. It was nice, and i bypassed the worst part of summer to be pregnant in with the Jan baby.

With my first i was pregnant like, now in this heat/humidity, and it was disgusting. My boyfriend wanted to run for the hills. I was a monster. lol.

Winter babies all the way!

The only thing that I don't like is on birthdays you can't do anything fun outside

Humidity is the worse thing ever!

My daughter was born January 17. I liked being in the beginning of pregnancy at the end of summer rather than being at the end during summer. Only downfall for me during the winter was snow/ice. It was awesome being massively pregnant in cool weather since I was a furnace anyways. But I slipped on ice a few times so I had to make sure to hold on to my SO or wear shoes that grabbed.
With my first I was hot constantly because I was pregnant and living in Hawaii.. it was miserable.

I didn't have a car either, so i had to walk for groceries and walk the dog. In the brutality that is summer.

Valentines day baby! That's adorable, I love that.

I am hoping I will be due in February but being realistic it's obviously a possibility of being due in January with the months we start trying.

And aw, I am sorry   My youngest was born in April, having a Spring baby was great, but she was 3-4 months and I was always so worried about her being hot, and staying at home 24/7 isn't an option when you have more than 1 kid  

I am sure you will be just fine keeping your newb cool though  

I have a Feb baby and it was amazin cuddlin in front of fire all warm...and I have two summers baby and its hell lol and this baby is also goin to b a summer baby....u hot sticky and sweaty

I always wanted a winter and spring baby, but instead I got a fall baby.
After our first we tried for a year with 4 losses, this baby was a complete surprise since I didn't even think I could carry another child.
I really should complain and bitch about being uncomfortable etc. because I am indeed blessed. But still   lol

That's true the snowing/ice.. I will still be going out to bring my eldest to school and holidays, and things like that. I will take that into account and be careful! Thanks for your input

Yep definitely winter babies are better. Lol. DS was born 1.5.10 and LO was born 5.29.12 and I definitely had an easier time with DS. I'm constantly worrying about LO wanting to be swaddled and getting too hot and everything else.

I have 2 January babies (3rd and 22nd) and i'll have a june/july baby. I actually loved being pregnant during winter, the only con is not being able to have a party outside because of the cold. With this pregnancy i'm miserable and the thought of going outside just makes it worse.
