My friend has it and hasn't complained, I plan on getting it too after baby.

I had one after my 2nd baby and loved it! I only spotted for 6 months and then had no period at all. I had to have it removed after 3 years because of an infection in my uterus but other than that I had no problems with it and never gained any weight with it. About the BF I have no idea.

I get mine put in tomorrow!
My doctor says it has worked best for most so it gives me hope, but I am still nervous.

I've had it for a year now. I don't even have a period anymore. I spotted for about 3 months. Then I had a normal but light period for about 7 or 8 months and now it's stopped. I didn't get bad cramps or anything. The only issue I had was it made my face break out. I just changed my face wash and it cleared up  

I've had mine since Nov. 2009 (around 8 weeks post partum). It didn't affect my weight. My periods were kinda crazy for the first few months, but then regulated, and are now right on schedule and super light. I also breastfed for a year & a half, so it definitely did not affect me there  

I had Paragard. IUD's are the devil if you ask me.

I had a horrible experience with the Paragard! And got pregnant with it!

Yeah, I almost died and lost an ovary. Not worth the "convenience" if you ask me.

My doctors nurse told me that it's very rare that people have problem that bad compared to how many people get it. She said 9 out of 10 people they put it in don't have any problems. She said you just always hear more about the bad things and they stick in your memory more than good things.

Well, obviously it doesn't happen to most people, but it happened to me. I only had it for 5 months before smurf hit the fan and it changed my life. Just know the risks, that's the best I can say. I don't mean to scare you, I just heard so much ... "they are fine"'s until it turned tragic for me.
