November Momma's

posted 19th Jun '12
I have a lot of questions tonight lol.

I am a worry wart - let that be known.

I am much heavier this pregnancy then i was with my daughter
I am 243 lbs
I am officially 20 weeks today
& obv this is my 2nd baby.

How many of you are feeling your babies all the time. I feel her every now & then nothing regular nothing daily in fact idk if i felt her today. I honestly wish i could just hook something up to my belly so i can know she is ok.

I'm in the same situation and I think I've only felt her twice so far .. Has me worried too but I didn't feel anything until later with my daughter either so I'm sure we'll feel it soon!

same - last time we checked her she was doing the worm but i didnt feel her - =( but still i am pretty sure i was feeling my first move around this time.

the first time i was just so calm - i didnt panic about anything except when they tried telling me she had cysts on her brain when they ruled that out i was all better

Don't fret I am also 20 weeks, second pregnancy and I generally have felt this baby kick/move at certain times and nothing at other times. It's perfectly normal at this stage. If you were to have a sonogram now you'd be able to see the baby at times deep in the pelvic cavity moving...but not feel it yet. Also sometimes the baby is active when we don't even notice! I bought a fetal doppler and check for FHR daily due to past miscarriages it really can provide a lot of piece of mind.

Also you can try drinking OJ or rootbeer and lying on your left side in a quiet area...that may get baby moving!

I am 19 weeks and also pregnant with my second child, lol Dont worry. The baby at that point sleeps all day because the motions of your tummy swaying during the day. You should mostly feel it move during the night when you lay down to sleep.

your okay they say between 18 - 22 weeks for first time moms. Its so funny because between today & yesterday I have felt her a little bit more. So I am assuming its only going to get more and more.

I went for my BIG ULTRASOUND at exactly 18 weeks i was laying down and they were looking at her & she was MOVIIINNNGGGGG all over the place, i didnt feel a thing!!!

Does anyone have sharp stabbing like pains in their lower abdomen? like right under your belly button?? I get them on and off seems daily, they knock me almost to my knees because of the pain. Sometimes TMI having a bowel movement diminishes them and other times not. I know little one is okay because i feel her move daily just concerned about the pain and curious if anyone has had this around 21-22 wks?

Yeah I started to notice that lately. Today I was up and moving most of the day and she gave one little kick and twist i guess just switching position a bit but me moving has a tendency to just knock her out. lol
