Am i counted as a teen, at the age of 22?

The only reason why i asked, is that when i went for my first Bloods, the lady looked at me wierdly and asked to confirm my D.O.B. I then told her.. Soo On, and she was like okay. Would you be happy if you are pregnant, i told her Hell Yeah. so yea. Confused?

People asked me that when I was 24 and getting a pregnancy test

I don't think they meant it in a mean more. More like "Should I congratulate you? or no?"

Even older women have unwanted pregnancies

i get funny looks by health professionals when i tell them im pregnant with my 3rd.... until i point out the fact im nearly 28... all down to the fact i look waay younger. i even got asked for id in a bar last year... made me giggle

I don't understand what about the subsequent questions make you think you could possibly be considered a teen at age 22

Im 22 and have been married for nearly 3 years and just cause im young they assumed that i wasnt married so all my labour notes were under Miss, pissed me right off.

I had my first a week after i turned 18, And a couple days after being home i went and got my hair cut, My mum was there as well to watch the pram while i got it done, And the hair dresser asked me how i liked being a big sister :/ lmao

LOL.... it was the OPPOSITE for me. My mom had her 3rd baby when I was 15!! Whenever we went somewhere people would give ME dirty looks and when they spoke to us, they would say, "are you out with Mommy and Grandma?" I was like "Uh, no.. its not MY kid, its HERS"

lol! after my 1st (i was 21 when i had him) my parents came up and took us out for the day, my mum was pushing the pram and someone came up and complimented her on how well she looked for just having had a baby. when she laughed and pointed out she was in fact the grandmother, the woman then screwed her face up looked at me and my younger brother and said "well you two must be very proud and glad youve got good understanding parents". i dont think she was too pleased when my brother and i burst out laughing.

I think you know the answer to your own question..... She probably didn't want to say congrats if this was an unwanted pregnancy. Which then you would of thought that was rude also.......
