39 weeks today... & ??????

Okay, So I talked to my doctor today and she said they dont like for you to carry over 40 weeks, Which Is wonderful for me.. Because, Now I only have a week to go... I would like to do how long you guys stayed dilated 2 & how long after did you have your baby ?, Im dilated 2 I have been for a week now & Im just curious about all the other moms!! Thanks for sharing..

I stayed 2 for about 2 weeks.

Why not just go overdue? You don't know if your due date is off or not. Why be induced for no reason?

you can always say no to being induced.

you can go against the doctor..

2cm for 3 weeks... Went into labor at 2cm.

Well, Guess Ill just be induced then! Everyones diff, I want my daughter here now shes 7 pounds so im sure we got our dates right!  

I was 2cm, then 3cm the next week when I went in, and he said "if you make it until tomorrow night, we'll induce you."

I went into the hospital at 830pm, and I was 4 1/2 cm and having contractions 3 minutes apart (and had been for 16 hours.) They didn't really induce me at that point. Haha

I'd wait it out that . They are usually wrong

You don't know that.

you really need to read up on inductions..... higher rates of c sections...

ETA: Dont tell me "my doctor tells me so"..
