Why are so many young women having babies????

I am new to BG and have noticed that there are so many young moms or moms–to-be on here. I am 29 and pregnant with my first and I just feel like all the young moms are missing out on so much when they start a family so early. What about traveling, school, friends, enjoying alone time with your husbands’ or significant others’....I know some pregnancies are an accident but I could never imagine myself at 16 to 21 years old TRYING to start a family. I am not judging, I just want to know your feelings on this........

I just wanted to say that in no way am I judging young moms. I just want to become more educated on why they started early. I would have started earlier too if I was able too but I was not. I wanted young mom’s opinions’ and thoughts. If you were or are offended by my question I apologize. But I genuinely would like to know. Thanks!

They are having sex and its equalling babies

It's MORE of a new thing for people to wait so long to have babies!

If you're not judging maybe you should rephrase your paragraph lol. Sounds pretty judgmental to me. (And no, I didn't have my children young so I'm not just being sensitive about it)

It really isn't anything to do with age, its when you are ready to start a family. Not everyone has the same plans as others, you can still travel with children its just more expensive, you can still attend school, & you can still have time with friends. I prefer to be a young mom and am excited to be young still when my child is grown up   everyone is different.

New Age concept.

I was 16 when I had my first 19 my second and 22 my third..im now 28 and having my 4th and last...i went to college and have a nursing degree and I NEVER feel like I missed out on anything. I went to prom and have traveled all over ...yeah of course it takes a little extra planning and some sacrifices but I wouldnt change it for the world.
