Lol, your avatar perfectly matches that statement.

I am really sorry to hear about your mother, that is horrible! My mom had me when she was 35 and although she is in good health and active I sometimes worry about how long she will be able to be a part of my children's lives.

I would have liked to start a family around 26. I was unable to because IMO I didnt feel prepared, I was not married, I didnt own a home and I didnt have a stable job (Some people dont think these things matter but to me personally it did). I asked other woman because I am interested in their opinons and what made them decide to plan to start early. The youngest mommy I know is 25 so the only woman I know to ask is on here and I got a lot of educational answers that helped me understand better!

It sounds like you conceived your second pretty soon after you started TTC. That is awesome, it took us about a year!

Cuz babies are so CUTE duh! I can dress her up and when I get bored I put her in the closet.

But seriously. When I got pregnant at 19 (purposely, and I will admit it was not a well thought out plan, but I wouldn't trade her) I was living in a foreign country. I go out with my friends, I am going to school. Sure it's not easy to juggle being young, a student, and a mother, but such is my life. I love my child, and I would not trade a second.

I DO hope that my child finishes school and starts a career before she has a family of her own. The reasons I chose to become a mother are still reasons, and I do not regret having her. I just regret the point I was at in my life. I wish I would have been in a better place so she could have a better life. What's done is done, and I will do everything in my power to be sure she has the best life possible.

I did now that I think of it. But we never used protection after LO---sometimes he would let go inside of me and sometimes he wouldn't---so technically you can say we were trying without trying. It wasn't until LO turned 2 that we started TTC---that is when I started to actually pay attention to the calendar and the days I would ovulate. Congrats on your pregnancy though

First, at 19, was unplanned. Second, at 22, was because I didn't want a huge age gap between my kids.
It's a regional thing, mostly. I live in NY and when I tell people I'm 22 with 2 kids they are like   roll:
