re: OCTOBER BOYS

Weight gain: I'm on the heavy side but my weight gain/loss has been a very similiar pattern in all three of my pregnancies. This time, when I got pregnant I weighed 223 lbs.. Well at my appointment yesterday I weighed 202 lbs. I have yet to gain anything. The only thing my doctor said was at my last appointment (June 3rd) I had loss 6 more lbs and she asked if I was still getting sick. I told her no I wasn't, I was actually feeling ALOT better. I think it was just being so busy I worked it off. That appointment was my ultrasound and Ian is doing great and growing just like he should be, so that's why I don't think they are worried!  

I've posted a little bit in one of the other October mommies forums, but I figured I'd post here too!!
I found out on May 30th that I'm having a little boy!! I'm so scared that it'll change, but I doubt it will. I just know one of my friends was told for a long time it was a boy and then all of a sudden "oh it's a girl!!" Soooo of course I think about that all the time! lol
I've pretty much got my heart set on naming him Cooper Mathew (Mathew is the father's first name). I haven't talked to the bd about it in quite some time, but at this point we really aren't on speaking terms...so hopefully he won't disagree with that name since he did like it at one point!
I've started feeling him move a little bit recently and it's soooooo exciting!! I will be 20 weeks tomorrow!! I can't believe I am halfway done already! It's so CRAZY!!
I would post pictures of my belly, but it doesn't look like a baby is in there, I just look fat :-( kinda bums me out! And ultrasound pictures are a little tricky...the place I went to gave me them on a big sheet and it's like x-rays...you have to hold it up to the light to look at them, it's not like regular pictures...which I thought was a little weird! But oh well!!
I'm super excited for my little man to get here! I'm thinking of decorating his room with Firetrucks (his daddy is a fireman, so I thought it would be cute). Has anyone else started/thought about what they're going to do for the baby's room?

And, thank you!! I love the name myself!!
Annnd the room thing, I'm pretty excited about...let's hope that he is just like his daddy...except the fact that he's been the BIGGEST DICK...EVER...for the last few weeks since we broke up...but before that he was the most wonderful, amazing man I'd ever met...lol

Yeah...I mean of course while we were together we had our problems, but that's completely normal. And then one day out of nowhere to me he says he's done...and then a week later he's dating someone else. So it's all a huge mess right now. And it sucks, but I absolutely can't do shit about it :-( which is the worst part!

eh..maybe he will come around. guys tend to do weird shit when i baby is brought into the pic. unplanned. im hope everything does work out for you and if not i hope at least he will be in his life.

Thank you! I hope it all works out the way I want it to as well (well, of course...). I hope that he sticks to it and stays in his sons life...And yeah...A LOT can change in the 4 months before he gets here...I just hope that it's for the better!

but dont look at it like the only way it will be better is if ur with him..maybe that isnt the case and ull find a guy 20x better..never know. sometimes thing happen in a weird way..

Yeah, I know I don't need to be with him for things to be better. I've accepted that. It would just be nice if we could get back together.

hey mommas! how are u and ur lil boys doing?
im just and so is kayden! he LOVES to kick at me and he even gets excited when we go to see daddy. its like he knows lol.

i think they know their daddies already. mine seems to wake right up when he hears daddy, especially when he's been working out of town for a few days.

I think they know, bc he is always kicking for his daddy, all my kids have. But I am always waiting for him to kick one of his big sisters when they are sitting on my lap, or leaning on my belly, and always not a thing!! LOL. its like he knows, and doesn't want to try it or something. I am sure it will happen, probably not for a while though.

When Tom comes around he seems to put Gabriel to sleep. Tom gets a little sad about it because he has yet to feel him kick. But maybe its a good thing that he calms Gabriel down?
