i was due yesterday!

and i'm getting sooo very impatient to get this baby out! i want to meet her. lol anybody know of something that ACTUALLY works to get labor started asap??

Wait til your body goes into labor.
I was 10 days overdue with my first, its common.

waiting until the baby is ready to come out.

I was over a week late with my first. Baby will come when baby is ready. Due date is just an estimate anyways. Nobody usually goes exactly on their date.

I was like you, at 39w 5d. I was having really strong contractions 7min apart (they still insisted they were braxton hicks). I went and got monitored and measured 2 cm and fully effaced. The doctor said "any day now but today was a "false alarm" so probably not today" (in hindsight that was prelabor but nothing to shake a stick at). I left in almost tears. I was crushed. I went into labor that day anyways. Moral of the story labor comes when it comes, and not a moment sooner.

I was 9 days early with my first and 6 days late with my second. And I tried EVERYTHING. Raspberry leaf tea, exercise ball, sex, walking, stretch and sweep done at 40 weeks... nothing worked. The morning I had her, had the appointment with OB/GYN and he said I was 3cm and waters were bulging, go home and have sex or go for a walk. So I went for a walk. lol. Then about an hour after that contractions started. Before that, NOTHING worked. Just hang in there and try to do a little bit of walking, gavity will help a little. Good luck. We tried everything (except castor oil and dumb stuff) to get our second little boy out so my husband could be there for the birth... None of it worked. Well, as a joke we went and had dinner at Ruby Tuesday since I went into labor with my first right after eating there. It just so happened that I went into labor with my second a couple hours after dinner haha. Crazy coincidence. Good luck! Not too much longer
