Meet black people? o.o

DS has the channel on BET and I just saw this commercial about "how black people meet" a dating site called -meetblackpeople.com then shortly after seeing this commercial I see an add for it at the top of BG lol.

I wonder if their are dating sites for all the other races "meetmexicanpeople.com" "meetwhitepeople.com" etc  

There isn't.

But there was kind of a debate a month ago about how black women have a harder time finding a spouse, that is why there is a website just for them.

Heh. This made me laugh. I think it's ridiculous.

That's interesting. Was anyone able to elaborate why?

I think its kind of awesome, but does it mean that its just for black people? Does it discourage interracial dating? Just curious cause I think everyone has the right to date anyone they choose whether within their own or as an interracial couple if that makes sense.

If I remember correctly, they were just saying how men found black women less attractive. I don't know why, because I personally disagree. But then again I'm not a man.

It seems so, I went to the website (just the homepage) and it shows just black people. I didn't even think about the interracial part... :/

I think that kind of ridiculous. But so be it. I was at the store with my husband once (he's black, I'm super white lol) and this older (black) lady was our cashier, I wasn't feeling well ( I was like 30 some weeks preggo and had mild pre-e ) so I went to sit on the bench while we were checking out and let my DH pay. The lady proceeds to tell my husband that he should be with a black woman and that all the white women are stealing good black men from the black women. And that it must be nice to be beautiful, young, AND waited on hand and foot by her man. (referring to the fact I was sitting on the bench waiting for DH to pay. ) I was like WTF. He came and told me. He thought it was funny.

I've seen that commercial before. I thought it was kinda weird but it could probably be helpful if you lived in an area without a lot diversity and wanted to meet someone to date and were particular about their coloring, LOL

I don't agree either but I guess I wouldn't know either since I'm not a guy. I'm half black half white and SO is white so I guess he likes half black women lol.

Lol that is funny xD It's amazing people still think like that, people can be with whoever they want white,black yellow, brown or purple
