I was allowed to eat a light breakfast before I went in for my induction. I was so nervous I only managed to get half a piece of bread with peanut butter down.

I did both times. I'm pretty sure they told me to.

I ate before, during, and after. Hehehehehehe   I didn't smurf my self while pushing either.

I ate a full BIG meal before going in, and I'm soo glad. Was induced at 6pm, and other than a small breakfast the next morning, it was the last thing I ate till the next morning. After 34 hours labour I probably wouldn't have had ANY strength by the time I wwas pushing!

I'd recommend it- you need your strength!!
