Quoting Wiggity Wack:" Ugh. I hate the flu shot. That smurf made me sick for days."

I personally believe it's a government scheme to make money, the flu comes in thousands of strains!

Makes sense. It cost me 37 bucks. I didn't want the damn thing, but it was required for my internship.

we dont vaccinate b/c of the ingredients. i researched the diseases and feel comfortable with our choice. if he actually gets a disease we'll handle it naturally and or get medical help is needed.

We are more on the middle ground. We do vaccinate, but we are selective. There are some we just don't deem necessary. This time around we are even skipping the eye drops and Hep that is given once they are born. Instead of Vitamin K shot we are doing it orally too, so our newborn doesn't experience pain of a shot first thing.

We also do not do the chicken pox, swine, flue, one of the other hep, and one of the two months shots. I forget all the names of them as it was two years ago when our pediatrician told us those two were not necessary for our family. I just love our pediatrician hehe.

I also didn't do the vitamin k shot, the eye goop is required in NC, and delayed the hep b shot at birth.

Why is it required? I'm pretty sure you. Can deny any medical procedures. Besides, how insulting is it to assume that a woman has a disease and force treatment for it.

i just read a tiny bit on it and saw if the woman wants to opt out she has to get a court order before delivery.
however i also read charollete area allows opting out w/o court orders.
so i suppose it depends on the area/hospital.

Quoting Rowans Mom (RIP):" A poll made out of pure curiosity. Also, I see that some ladies are pro-vaccine and some are anti-vaccine ... [snip!] ... not meant to offend anyone) I know I could look this stuff up on google but I'd rather hear personal opinions, you know? TIA!"

I'm not anti vaccine...but I'm not pro vaccine either.

I'm for parents choice and I'm against to many vaccines to fast.

My son is 2 and a half and not vaccinated. He will be getting some in the future but they will be spread out.
two different family members on both sides of my sons family have had bad reactions to vaccines. One of those family members had a severe reaction and my aunt won a lawsuit.

Getting your child vaccinated is a risk...just as well as not doing it. Parents decide what they feel is better for their child. My son is 2 and a half years old, he's healthy, he's advanced in his learning and he has a strong immune system.

I'm not sure why it is, I didn't really look it up, because I'm not against it, and they did let me wait until her bath, so I could see her and take pictures and stuff. Yeah, Charlotte is about 2 hrs away

we vaccinate. My grandfather is a survivor of polio and after hearing his story there is no way I would want to give my baby no protection against such a devastating illness.

I get some but not all and at different times than suggested. I don't like the thought of having all of those chemicals in my newborn's body. I get them when my children are older...around 5
