My son calls everyone mommy haha. He's non-verbal and he doesn't know what to call people to get their attention so he just calls everyone the only thing he knows as a "name".

No, My cousins dad was never in his life. He left before he was born and my cousin called our grandpa, Dad from the very beginning when he started talking.
