My Brain Tumor *PIC, MAY BE GRAPHIC?*

This is a picture of my MRI. I circled my tumor, it's a meningioma and his name is Steve. I posted it on facebook, but my mom told me to take it down because I was upsetting people, i'm not sure why, but i put a warning up just in case.



I just found out Thursday about him and I see a neurosurgeon on Tuesday to see when he can pack his bags and leave!

Now hold the smurf up! How the hell do you know it is a BOY?!?!

they have the gamma knife radiation thing and mine is small enough, but it's pressing on important brain stuff, so i think they have to do a craniotomy and take it out that way.

Haha too true. If you dont mind me asking, what made you think you had a brain tumor before the mri? Like what symptoms did you have?

Oh wow... I think the pic is kinda neat in a way... I wouldn't take it down, but that's just me I always figure people have the option to look or to not look on FB...

Hope they can remove it soon and you have a speedy recovery!

it's most likely benign - 92% of them are. I have the same type that Sheryl Crow has. I'm pretty young, 34, and in good health otherwise, so I should be fine

thanks! the surgery is gonna be a hard recovery. i'm so glad this didn't happen when i was pregnant or had a newborn. my youngest is only 9 months old though
