Mole that hurts...

I have a mole under my right breast, from what I can remember I have had it my whole life. Well, for the last couple of weeks, it has been hurting off and on, kind of like a burning pain.
Today I was laying on the floor playing with my son and it really started to hurt and itch. So I go to look at it and it's red around the mole and the tip of the mole is black. I am not sure if it has always been black or not. I don't THINK it has, but can't say for sure.
It's raised, maybe like half and inch, has always been this way.
I am putting a pick so you can get a better idea what I am talking about.


Anyways, my question is: Would a normal doctor be able to look at it, remove it if necessary and send it for test if deemed needed? Does it LOOK like something I should be concerned about?

If that was happening to me, I would go to the doctor and get it checked out. I really think you should.

that mole went bad.. yes your normal doctor you go to can look at it.. i would make a apt asap..

i dont mess with moles not trying to scare you none but my aunt let hers go when it was hurting she had melanoma and passed away about a year ago..

I think I should too, but people keep telling me it's just irritation from bra and breast. But I just don't think it is.

it could be. it's better to be overcautious with these things than to wait and ignore them. trust me lol

I agree. Skin cancer doesn't run in my family, but other kinds do so I want to be safe now, and not be sorry later.

I agree. I put off going to the doctor about my dizziness and headaches and when I finally did, I found out I have a brain tumor! That's pretty rare, but if you suspect something is wrong, it's always wise to get it checked out at least. Good luck.

If you are worried, I would say to to have it looked at. It could just be irritated. Does your bra rub it?
