First vacation since moved to toddler bed?

We're going back to my home town next month and it'll be the first time we're going anywhere since we've switched lo to a toddler bed. We never co-sleep, neither of us sleep well if we do and then there's not enough room for DH to sleep. So, do we take the pack n play and let him sleep in there still? I think he would be ok with that but I'm not sure. We'll be in my mom's house and there is two extra rooms with beds, we just use the one in the basement and the other is upstairs across from their room. Actually, now that I think of it, they have 3 extra bedrooms with beds, lmao. What do you all do in this situation?

I dont know. If it were my son, Id take his pack and play so he can sleep with us, beside our bed, it helps him when we go away (we do not co-sleep, and have never shared a bed) But no vaca, he likes the little treat.

I would think my son being in a different house, in a different room would be too different for him.

We always sleep in the same room with the pack n play when we go on vacation. It's just different now since he's in a toddler bed and can get in and out. I'm wondering if he'll not want to sleep in the pack n play now. I think we'll try it though.

My son is 2.5 and has been in his toddler bed for a few months now. We havent been on vacation since. I wonder what he would do lol.

Maybe take it with you, and see what he wants, his own room/bed, or with you.

I think that's what we'll do. I was just wondering what others have experienced, lol. My son is 2.5 too!
