3yr old with fever and ear pain

my lo has been with a fever for 6 days hes been to the er 3 times already,hes bein treated for an ear/throat infection...hes been on antibiotics since thursday,hes fever has not subsided or atleast minimized hes still getting the same temp every 2-3 hrs (anywhere from 102 to 104) he hasnt been sleepin at all cuz hes in alot of pain,the inuprofen and eardrops dont seem to be helping either...any advice on what to do? please and thank u

He needs antibiotics probably. It's an ear infection. Children's Tylenol and antibiotics is generally what I used for my kid's when they got ear infections.

I'd only give tylenol if the fever goes over 103.

You can try putting colloidal silver in his ear (a couple drops) and make sure that he stays hydrated. If the colloidal silver doesn't start helping in a few days or hos fever gets over 103 w/tylenol then I'd take him back in.

Have you taken him to the clinic? Not just the ER, but the pediatrition? Maybe there's something else going on there, and he/she can help diagnose it.

his pediatrican has been closed this whole week, hes on vacation...ive only spokeb with the oncalldr

i would try this however be CERTAIN it's not hot.
a little more than room temp is good but not hot !
